Ma'ruf Dallas has been serving new refugee families' needs for the past 10-years! Their unique programs help the refugees achieve self-sufficiency by providing job placement support, training, food security, rental assistance, driving classes, and financial management advice.
Refugee families are paired with case managers who work with them throughout 4-months, by the end of which, 85% are self-sufficient.
When families have completed all requirements, in the last portion of Maruf's program, they will be gifted a car, allowing them to have the needed transportation to flourish in the US.
The transition from fleeing war and poverty to becoming refugees and arriving in the United States takes a physical, emotional, and mental toll on a family. Refugees generally do not have easy access to mental health professionals and counselors, so Ma'ruf Dallas has expanded its services to provide counseling to our clients by licensed professionals.
