  • I wasted 7 years of my life agonizing over something in my past. Alhamdullilah I never want to go back to that. What has happened as happened. Now it’s time to move on and focus on the present.

  • yesterday I learned Surah al-nas and I looked at each arabic word and actually felt like I understood what I was reciting and it felt great. Made me realize that mindfulness in faith just further reinforces our purpose and builds our connections with our Lord.

  • I became more mindful when I tried to understand instead of respond. it changed the lens that I look through, everything is different now, every interaction and everything I read or listen.

  • Sisters, there is a book called Letting Go: The Pathway To Surrender by David Hawkins - it’s a great supplementary resource to letting go of that which we can’t control etc. I have bought a copy and it has helped me see things differently
